So of course we’ll go straight to the most trustworthy source – Urban Dictionary (duh) which defines it as “feeling an intense cringe or nausea at the thought of a straight male doing normal things”.
Which checks out… but in my experience, the “straight male” was my content and the “normal things” were everything I thought I needed to do to build a successful business online.
It worked. For a while. If all you were looking at was my bank account.
But the more I created, the more disconnected I felt from any of it.
I was chronically online.
I felt like I had to film my life for good content.
I never stopped thinking about my business.
And I HATED the kind of message I was sharing trying so hard to stay visible.
That’s when I got the ick.
The kind of ick that makes you want to delete everything, yeet your laptop out the window and log off from the internet for good.
Because everything I was sharing resembled literally what everyone else was doing on the internet, saying the some ewy viral mush that could have been said by literally anyone else.
And even though it looked like growth from the outside, I was building a business that didn’t have one slither of space for me in it.
I’d built a version of marketing that ran on constant output instead of ANY depth.
And I was DONE.
Because I know that the business creatives like you want isn’t built on squeezing marketing into the scraps of your day.
It’s built on having a ginormous amount of delicious space.
And words are just the little workers in your business that will give you your BIGGEST ROI on all of it = money, a calendar full of things you love, job satisfaction and time to live your fucking life.
The kind that articulates your magic, sounds undeniably your own, and moves people to buy from you — without you having to spend every waking moment online.
TLDR: I can write words that are created from your values, your voice and the way you want to show up FOR YOU so you can be seen as the deep, articulate HUMAN you are WHILST not being online at all.
HOW GOOD…. AMIRITEEEE?!
Like I said, I’ve BEEN AROUND.
I owned a cafe for 8 years, keeping that baby kicking through the pandy. I built a photography studio and education business that saw me launch my own courses and coaching as well as a membership that helped photographers launch and sell in their own business. I am the marketing coach in two incredible coaching programs with superstars Sophie Lea Photography + Georgia Draws a House. And in the last couple of years I’ve been writing and launching behind the scenes for incredible female creative business owners, with my work contributing to multiple 6 figure launches while my clients are on holiday.
My mission in life is to follow the breadcrumbs of work that bring creativity, joy and the best people to my days. And marketing, writing and collaborating with creatives, helping you market, launch and sell online is my playground for all of it.

Working with Liv, is like finally finding your dream employee without the contract.
She writes all my sales emails, for which there are loads, and I don't even have to check them. The trust I have in her to run the marketing of my business, is next level. Her emails have been pivotal in many 6 figure launches of mine. She has spent the time and effort to craft my voice, so I feel confident sending them out. I highly, highly recommend.
I’ve worked with Liv a few times now across different launches and special offers, and she’s honestly such a dream to collaborate with.
She has this really personable touch that’s so rare — and it works perfectly for my audience, especially since she really understands mothers and the kind of language that connects with them. Highly recommend Liv if you’re looking for a copywriter who just gets it — both the strategy and the heart behind your brand.
